Breaking Through Your Shadow with Connor Beaton | The Better Than Rich Show Ep. 66

Strength in confronting our struggles

Breaking Through Your Shadow with Connor Beaton

Connor Beaton was in one of the lowest points of his life.  Living out of his car and suffering through several vices, Connor had decided it best to isolate himself.  After all, real men shouldn’t reach out when they need help, right?  They’re expected to suffer in silence until the storm (hopefully) passes.

But what if the storm won’t or can’t pass without some help, introspection or self-leadership?

Unfortunately and all too often, men are restrained from seeking help and companionship in true times of need.  They are discouraged from examining their issues and are expected to simply soldier on.  Strongly held beliefs that men don’t need to share their woes can be incredibly dangerous and have a ripple effect that starts in the home and eventually spreads out into society.

Luckily, Connor is making a significant change for men and helping them to discover the ways of self mastery and how to serve as the right example of manhood for their sons.

Connor Beaton’s painful life experience taught him that isolation and enduring his darkness alone would do nothing to improve his life.  He has since married and started a family, and took a deep dive into studying behavioral therapy.  Connor made a firm commitment to break the cycle of silence, not just for himself but for other men struggling with the experience of being a man in today’s world.

Connor is a straight talker and holds nothing back.  If you seek better ways to handle your problems, are ready to learn how to conquer your shadow and help the next generation of men achieve greatness, listen to our interview with him today.
